I'm trying to gather up the last few parts I'll need to do the 10 to 12 bolt rear end swap in my Chevelle. The question I have is ...will the 12 bolt brake line bracket that bolts to the rear end cover work if I have a T/A aluminum cover? I don't know if the 3/4" thick T/A cover will cause problems when trying to bolt everything together and I don't want to buy the bracket if it won't work. Thanks for any info on this.

I just did this and used the original by bending the little tab flat. Worked just fine otherwise. This was with a Summit aluminum girdle/cover.

I used my 10 bolt bracket when I changed to a 12 bolt with TA cover had to bend it a bit to fit. Maybe not the most nice looking solution but it works.
