I'm planning on putting rear disc brakes on my 66 chevelle. I work at a auto parts store and I have access to alot of masters and boosters. I was curious if anyone knows or has used a paticular application for a 4wheel disc setup. My combo is 79 Firebird front calipers on the front and 98-02 Camaro "PBR" rear calipers. Know from expierence, going through the parts books, I have found alot of the older vehicles (corvettes,TA's), using the same part # for a disc/drum application as well as a disc/disc. I know this will not work. Also, I have been noticing alot of differences on the master cylinder bore sizes on different disc/disc masters. I've been wondering if this has somethin to do with the calipers that are use don that application. This is what leaves me confused. If anyone as a combo that has worked please let me know.

I have used 80/82 Corvette master cylinders. Work great.

What type of brake setup are you using when you use that master? (calipers, rotors, ect...) what size bore is it?
