I am caught with a serious problem. I have a 67 Malibu, converted to a chevelle SS. My brakes went out one day. I narrowed it down to the booster. I could not find any listings for a 67 Malibu, or anyone who sells parts for a Malibu, so I bought a booster for the same year Chevelle. Should be the same, but it isn't. The new booster had a thicker bracket, and a shorter rod to the pedal. The total difference of 1/2 an inch. It would not connect to the pedal. The rod was not adjustable, nor could I remove it. So, I tried to have the old one rebuilt. For some reason, they said it didn't follow specs. That didn't make any sense. Does anyone know where I can find a power booster for the 67 Malibu, or anyone that can help rebuild it, without a sad story about not being within specs?
Andrew.

Some parts mfg may break down the particular model line (300, 300 Deluxe, Malibu, SS, Nomad, Greenbrier, Concours, etc. depending on the year) but they are all Chevelles.
