: Lowering and disc brakes

I am having front disc brakes put on my Chevelle. They are putting a 2" drop disc brake kit in front and 2" drop rear springs in the back. The springs that are in the back now are causing the rear of the car to be jacked up a couple of inches. Does this sound like a good set-up for disc brakes and lowering, and should the car come out pretty level.
Thanks,
Bob

I would think if the correct springs were in there and you dropped both the front and rear by 2" that it should come out level. However, I would give it some driving time before coming to a conclusion - as I understand it the springs need to settle.

On the other hand, I wouldn't think they'd be a couple inches off and would suspect the wrong springs. Either way, waiting a short period of time won't hurt anything.

You're right. I posted the question a little too quick. The springs in the front and back are wrong. I am putting new springs in both the front and back. I'll see how it looks, and also wait a while for the springs to settle.
Thanks,
Bob
