I'm assuming that the best time to rebuild my front suspension is with the engine out of the car? Since something broke(most likely a bearing) on my recently rebuilt motor, I tore it back out yesterday and am considering working on the suspension while it is out. It is all original and the rubber bushings look bad(cracked, brittle, etc..)

I plan on purchasing all Moog components. Will it be OK to use polyurethane bushings in the front suspension with rubber(just replaced last year) in the rearend control arms. Didn't know if it hurts anything to mix?

Any advice from anyone will be greatly appreciated.

It will be just fine to use poly bushings in the front end and rubber in the rear. In fact, that is the desired setup. You don't really want poly bushings in the rear because they can promote suspension bind and make the car ride rougher. Good Luck graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Do yourself a favor and get polygraphite. Not just plain polyurethane. Save yourself the insanity of constant sqeeking.
