I'm doing a disc brake conversion on my 68 drum car to a disc set up using a 70 disc hose. The new hose is too big to fit in the original bracket hole.
Are the brackets from the hard line to the hose different from a drum brake hose to a disc hose? Or is it because a 68 bracket and a 70 hose differ?

The brackets are unique to 68's, so you will need 70-72 hose brackets for drum or disc brakes.

Be aware that the drum brake bracket is different from the disk brake bracket. The disk brake bracket is much thicker.
