When ever i pull out my headlight switch the fuse for the taillights go out and the radio and dash lights go dead but the turn signals still work where would you guys suggest starting to look for the problem

sorry i forgot to add my car is a 1966 chevelle with a normail nothin special starter

I would take a quick look around in the trunk first, then check the license tag light wire that comes out of the trunk, then start checking the tail light wire that runs under the carpet on its way to the trunk.

For unusual problems always suspect a bad or open ground. Voltage has to go somewhere so it feeds back to find a ground return. gary

A bad connection ground or open ground will keep something from working but will not cause a fuse to blow.
