1970 May 22nd, 09, 1:33 AM Just got this 1970 Chevelle. Took off rear drums for inspection. Rear brake shoes have the big one in the back and the smaller one in the front. Replaced rear brakes. All is well. Thank you for your replies. Schurkey May 22nd, 09, 2:53 PM First Guess: The brakes were run a long time while out-of-adjustment. If the front (primary) shoes were only "half worn away"--why replace them? Adjust 'em and keep on going. | ||
