I just joined the site a couple days ago and I already met some great people, or I should say some great knowedgeable people. :hurray:I'm an older former bodyshopman that has gotten out of the car business for about 15 years, but seeing my boys/daughter are getting older there more interested in cars I thought I would get back into it. I can't beleive what has happened in the past 15 to 20 plus years, I used to buy a driveable car for about $200 to $500 bucks, now I can barely buy a part for $200, WOW. I owned many cars in the past, 68 Malibu, 69 Camaro RS, 73 Corvette etc, so I love my Chevy's. I just purchased my older son a 68 Malibu and myself a month or so later a 66 Malibu, both need work and parts, but we got great deals, no not $200 but great deals for what some people are asking.

I'm in the process of taking a trip down this Saturday to Wisconsin Dells from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and I was just wondering if anyone can direct to any good spots to stop and check out for some Chevy parts or part cars.

Needed 66 interior, taillights, windshield, BB hood, buckets etc
Needed 68 steering column, console
Thanks a bunch Wayne:beers:

I dont know about stopping to find parts, but Original Parts Group has parts for just about every car I know of. I get almost all my chevelle parts from there. You can go to opgi.com and check out what they have there, and you can order a catalog for about 5 bucks, give or take a few, specificaly for your model car. Its pretty cool.
