I need a T400 for my 67. Looking at ads I see them described as "short shaft" or "long shaft". What was in the 67 originally and what will fit or interchange?

The turbo 400 that came in Chevelles is the short tail version. What does your car have in it now? If not a TH400, there are a few things that will need to be changed. The kickdown on TH400's is electrical vs a cable on TH350's. The crossmember may need to be relocated, and the front driveshaft yoke will be different as well.
