I am taking my chevelle to media blasting Friday morning and was wondering some do's and do not's of loading and unloading of my chevelle on the trailer when it is on the rotisserie. First I will be using a 18 ft dove tail trailer should work being total is 16ft but should i loosen the center brace or not so it can flex on a dove tail trailer? I also will be using heavy duty straps but not sure where to install them just yet hints (trailer is not mine and never one this before). I also will be putting it in the lowest postion possible and pin it in correct place ( up and down holes to raise and lower). So are there any other tips or advice or no no's etc??????? Please let me know ASAP Friday is coming quickly!!!! Brandon

It sounds like you're thinking along the lines of someone who is taking this seriously. It's the foolish types that don't give safety considerations a second thought that get into trouble. You're on the right track: tighten all pins or bolts, keep the car as low as possible on the rotisserie, HD straps used to tie down, etc... All I would add is when tying down the rotisserie, use an "X" method of attaching your straps to avoid side-2-side movement. Oh, and don't drive like a maniac! :)

Be careful. I don't want to read about a Chevelle body lying on I-40 somewhere tying up traffic. :D
