I have a 66 12 bolt non posi 2.73 drum brake rearend that is in good working condition and little or no pitting. I planned to keep it for a future project, but a gentleman that is buying some other parts is interested in it and I wanted to give him a fair price for both of us. So, how much???

I am not an expert, but as rare as the 66' width rear is to find even if it is open carrier, I would think it's worth more than $300, I feel the wider 12 bolt is much more common and I have seen them go for $250-$300 for a housing alone.

I sold my 68-72 2.73 pegleg 12 bolt for 500 bucks. Then again I bought my 3.31 pegleg in the shed for 250, But like others say, the earlier ones probably bring more bucks. jim

I bought a 12 bolt for a 70 so the wider style, posi with 3.55 gears for $600. Now i realize i got a smoking deal, but got it from a guy on the forums up in redding years ago.
