Hi all. I've read the procedure to bleed the reservoir in my '69 SS convert. Is the fluid referenced just regular brake fluid? If not, what should be used?

Everyone gets thrown off by the fact that the OEM factory fluid is clear color. It is NOT brake fluid! As Jeremy says, you want to use ATF. I have heard that older cars (maybe in the 50's) ***may*** have used brake fluid originally, but by 69 the factory was specifying ATF to be used.
