what's the best way to drain a 67 gas tank?

I'd drive the car till it's out of gas and then remove the tank. Any residue can be poured out into a gas can. Try and time your final drive to run out of gas in your driveway. :-)Seriously though, taking a tank out of a Chevelle is a very easy proposition if that's what you are getting at.

thanks charbilly 2001,the problem is that when i lower the car off the jacks,it's going to start leaking.
