I am doing the upper bushings and I was wondering if the cross shafts are directional ? Can they be installed wrong - backwards ? I know which side was facing the engine but not which end towards the front of the car.

I also have a bolt with a large washer on one side and a small bolt on the other - is that right ? The bolts do not seem to be the same thread.

They are not directional unless they are the offset variety... then one side should say "this side to engine".

Don't know about the bolt thing tho, seems strange as all I've ever seen had either the smaller bolts that thread into the ends, or big nuts on the ends.
