I need more than the two available power sources on the fuse box. This is a 1970 Elco w/ AC.

I have one power source for the starter and one for the fuel pump. I need two more power sources for the AMP and gauges.

Where can I hook these up? I pulled out the AC, is there a power source available from the ac harness?

Jay,

The best way to accomplish this is with a test light. First try open wires under the dash to see what is powered all the time, you don't want to use these.

Label those and then turn the key to ON and check the other wires. These are the ones that you will want to connect to.

The gauges don't draw much current so you could just tap off of existing gauge source out of fuse box. The amp (I assume you mean big AUDIO) would be better off by running a large gauge wire from the large post on the starter solenoid. (I'm guessing here but probably at least 8ga wire) and fuse it at the amp. I don't know anything under a stock dash capable of running a serious audio amp.

Most amps have you run a power lead straight to the + side of the battery then you have a remote wire which can be hooked to a key spot or to a power antenna. They do sale power taps where you can hook two wires into one plug. The a/c don't tie into the fuse panel it gets its power from the horn relay. http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj278/monte70car/001-3.jpg
