I need to get the correct valve cover grommets for my 350. Where can I get the correct ones? The one on the right side valve cover shouldn't be that hard to find but where can I get the slanted type PCV grommet for the left side?? Please help soon. I just painted my covers and I'm anxious to get them back on. My engine info is listed in my signature below. Thanks!

Shawn,
Try your local auto parts store, Advavce, Auto Zone, whatever is in your area. Look for them in the "HELP" line of parts.

That slanted PCV grommet is a very common item, if the auto parts doesn't have one, the junk yard certainly will.

You really think that my local auto parts store will have them and they would look original? That'd be great. I also need the cork gaskets. I wasn't sure about getting their parts because I got a thermostat from them but it's the wrong temperature for my engine.

I have another question, the long washers on the valve covers are arched in the middle. Should the arch be facing up or down (towards the valve cover)?

Shawn,
When you say long washers, are talking about 3 inches long, if so they are aftermarket, the hump goes up, away from the valve cover. this lets the outside edges hold pressure on the gasket, not the bolt. The orginal washers are about 1 to 1-1/2 inches long, and are flat.
