I just bought a little 4 banger ranger because the chevelle isnt drivable and I have to have transportation...and am without a vehical. I bought it with 4 alum SHO rims but they are just a little to small on the bolt pattern, but if I drill them I can make them fit, but will it be safe? I know they center on the drum, so i dont think I see a problem, other then the ballence issue. Any suggestions would be appretiated.

Just grab some temporary use WHEELS from a salvage yard.

Get complete WHEELS, not just the "rims" of WHEELS :D

These are complete, but i also noticed when i was measuring the center hole its 1/8 too narrow. I hunted down some temps to get me by.

I don't know what the difference is, but FWD wheels seem to be different from RWD wheels.

And if you try to oval the holes to get them to fit the bolt pattern, unless you do it on some fancy machine, you will never get it right.
