Just took out my engine and been working on the car, if anyone had a spare moment, could you please decode these numbers? Any info would be appreciated!
VIN: 1363701204715
70-13637-BL-13125
Block: 10114182
Heads: 10114158

That is not the VIN, it is the numbers off of the cowl tag, the VIN is seen thru the windshield on the drivers side. Those numbers do tell somethings though, perhaps the gurus will jump in and decode for you.

Perhaps the middle "1" is really an L.
I'll have to double check all those again.
Anyone have a moment to check those out?

13637= Chevy Malibu 2dr HT V8
0= 1970 model year
L= Los Angeles assembly plant
204715=car sequence number
BL= LA assembly plant
13125=Fisher Body unit number
The block and heads are 91+ Gen V 454
Did you check the front stamp pad in front of
passenger side head or front top of engine above timing chain cover for suffix ID?
