On the kickdown wire for a TH400. Was it wraped in anything on its way down to the trans? Or was it just an exposed orange wire.

Mine is exposed. You could wrap it if you like, seen it done before.

Mine is also exposed all the way.

You can cover it, but it's not exposed to extreme heat like an engine wire, so it's fine uncovered.
