Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way I can remove a pair of "SS" emblems from my fenders. I installed them the other day but one is alittle crooked. It is attached by barrel clips only. It's on pretty tight & I don't want to damage the emblem or the paint. TIA for any replies:o

Get a plastic putty knife and pry them off. Just make sure to pry them straight out, if you pry the letters crooked you can break off the mounting pins. I've had about as good luck just using my fingers though.

Like Rich said. I would also recommend masking off the paint around the emblems first.
Patience and work from all four sides. Oh and patience :D

I would mask it off around it and use double masking on the back of pry bar. It uses a nice gentle rocking motion. Don't get crazy and keep working around it till it starts coming loose. You could use a putty knife but it would make me nervous on nice paint. The potential for something to go wrong woud be much greater. Remember with a pry bar if its not coming easy don't pry so hard as to make little dents with the pry bar. good luck!
