WEll, I didn't sell it because I was pissed off. It ran fine, just needed more than I could put in to it. Had it for almost 8 years just wanted a change. The paint sucked, was going to need a new rear end, headliner, front matching wheels, the autoloc kit always had issues, it was always something new or expensive - didn't want to put anymore money into it.

I got exactly what I needed :) He did stiff me for $100 last minute which was annoying. He saw it on Ebay but was not a bidder and made an offer. Bought a first class ticket from LA got here at 10:50pm, I met him at the airport drove him to the AMPM, he gave me a wad of cash filled the tank and he drove that thing back all night. Pretty crazy if you ask me. I had BS offers left and right for weeks on end, trade offers, and some really trashy people calling up with offers than make low ballers look like nothing.

Well it may not agree with some of my friends here but I will say at least it's not a Ford :) For those Ford dislikers... which I would be one of them, never had a taste for it. Anyways, I now own a 64' Ragtop with a 1915cc Dual Webber, freeway flyer trans, car is much faster than my Chevy - muahaha

I know what he was asking and the fact that he won`t tell us assures me that he sold it for more than it was worth with the salvage title and doesn`t want to tell us fearing that we`ll call him on it. If you got someone to pay what you wanted there is no reason for flaming you but acting secretive about it looks a little sketchy in my book. I saw your car on craigslist and saw similar cars in better condition for the same and even less money which is probably why the price dropped $3k on craigslist. Looks like you got a decent amount of cash for it though.

Sketchy? Comon man, my personal finances are private, as should yours be :) That's not cool. I didn't really know what to ask, I lowered the price because the market is tough and I wasn't sure of the value. It was going to need a better rear end soon, the paint sucked, headliner, it needed some things for sure. If you absolutely must know I got far less than I was asking but if you saw it in person and drove it you'd have a good idea - I let people make the price and current value as I showed it to people in person, eventually I just let it go. This post wasn't meant to talk about my finances, I hope you understand that and don't take offense or judge my character for not wanting to "kiss and tell".
