Bubba My Chevellestuff.com site maybe. :D
ST 69 13637 is STyle, 1969, 13637 is a Malibu 2-dr sport coupe trim level.
KAN is Kansas City final assembly plant
257420 is the Fisher Body assignment number for 2-dr Malibus at Kansas City. For some reason, the 1969 model year seems to have probably started with a number of 100001 for body numbers as there were only 286162 2-dr coupes built in 1969 and I have a 69 KC tag the 1st week of September 1968 with a number of 103171.
TR 756 is TRim, Black coated fabric bucket seats
71 is half the paint code. Should be two sets of numbers or numbers and a letter. 1st number is lower body color and 71 is Lemans Blue. If the other number is 71, it's a solid color (not two-tone) and if there is a letter in place of the 2nd number, it would indicate a vinyl top color if so equipped or convertible top color if it was a convertible.
02B is body assembly month and week, February, 2nd week in this case.
02824 is an internal plant tracking code and, to my knowledge, its exact use isn't known except to note that it appears in block 24 of the build sheet and would help confirm the build sheet (if you had one) belonged to that car.
L - jury is still out on this one. Much speculation but don't think anyone has figured it out yet.
