: PROJECT XXX is for sale
cfChevelle May 13th, 09, 4:24 PM Check out the ad copy. Lots of embellishing adjectives here. Now I know what to do to get the "XXX" designation for my ride. :D Anyway, would you ever "tub" your Chevelle like this? What do you think of the car overall? Someone must like it, there's almost 20 bids.

71Avido May 13th, 09, 6:20 PM Once you tub a car can it even be considered Pro-Touring?
IMHO the car looks great but the interior is a bit "loud" for my taste.
I just noticed the bologna skin it has on the driver side in the shot where its on the lift.
And whats up with the silver floors with black crossmembers, that's different I think it actually looks pretty neat!
Alwhite00 May 13th, 09, 6:57 PM Floors do look pretty cool, Wonder how high this will go?

red Chevelle SS May 13th, 09, 7:15 PM I liked what I saw there :D, looks to be some good work in both cars.
MarkM May 13th, 09, 7:45 PM Not Pro-Touring, even by the loosest definition.
Not my thing at all. I think it was recently on ebay before this go round.
BigBlockBeaumont May 13th, 09, 7:47 PM I really like it !
dezl May 13th, 09, 8:00 PM I think the interior is enticing, wonderous...oh sorry the ad got me all fired up.
Everything looks pretty good to me but the interior, way to much going on.
smoke' em II May 14th, 09, 5:07 PM ever noticed that pro modded chevelles arent worth very much? plus once you have ruined a chevelle like this ,there is no going back.
72 malibu May 14th, 09, 5:42 PM I like the '69 Orange rag top in one of the bottom photos
BIG EVIL CHEVELLE May 14th, 09, 6:39 PM I'm not a fan of the interior color scheme or the wheels.
steve_sutherland May 14th, 09, 7:16 PM i love that car, i think it looks really sweet, IMO i wish it was mine :D

I think "pro-street" is the term usually used. And yeah, most, not just chevelle pro-street cars aren't going for much these days.
I don't really think it's impossible to go back though, with full floors and trunks being sold.
