Just wanted to know what steering wheel originally came with on my 70SS vert. I've had it since 1979, with no mods except for headers. I've been told someone had to swap out the original wheel with a wide 4 spoke SS off a 71, 72. Just haven't been able to find a source for the build codes in blocks 10 thru 106 on the build sheet. Everything else matches (engine, 4 speed, rear, etc.) Just a bit curious what code KA stands for in block 69 on the build sheet.
Thanks, LLOYD

I have a 70ss with the same code,I think it is the stock wheel with the 2 horn buttons, you do have a wheel from a 71-72

Thanks for the info jac. It put my curiosity to rest. I'll probably still stay with the current wheel, just favor it over the 70 stg wheel. Right now, I'd use any wheel, if it meant getting out on the road right now!!! As you can tell by the pic, it's just in it's tear down phase of a complete resto.

Thanks again for the info,
Lloyd

Yep, KA is the standard 2 spoke wheel.
