There was a set of 66 Chevelle SS VIN tags sold tonight on EBAY. Somebody is going to turn a Malibu into a Super Sport. As far as I know it is illegal to remove VIN tags, and must be illegal to sell them.
If you pay for a Diamond but receive a cubic zirconia you would be pissed.
Same goes for some guy laying his hard earned money down to buy a Super Sport, but only gets a Malibu.
Please Everybody make some noise about this.
Contact Ebay and report it! e-mail the buyer and seller and let them know you dissaprove of this type of activity. Report this to anybody who can make a difference, so that somebody doesn't end up getting screwed by another dishonest person.
It is bad enough sorting through all the fake cars as it is,
lets not let another one happen.

This had been discussed in another forum, they have been turned in and the auction has been pulled.

Give me a link to where it was discuused.
I would like to know what was said.
Also just because the auction was ended what other steps were taken to see that these tags do not ever end up on a car?
Thank you.
