: A Minor annoyance fit issue with ledgendary covers- bucket seat backs

So i just thought i'd post this to see if anyone else had run into it.

Found on Legendary bucket seat covers for my 66.

On the seatback upper cover, there is a rope rail sewn in, that gets pulled tight and hogringed behind the metal/plastic rear cover on the seat.

The TOP edge of the rope rail is about 1" shorter than the original was. The sides are ok, but the top part is way too short to pull it down to the clamp points.

Luckily, the little metal clips that hold on the seat back get screwed through the cover here, so they help to hold it. I used zip ties to bridge the gap- but annoying none the less.

A friend of mine also has a 66 and the shop that installed his covers had the same complaint, although they actually sewed in rope rails the right width to fix it.

Just curious if anyone else had ran into this...

Maybe one of the ledgendary guys who posts here will take notice.

Just to make note here... I'm just commenting on this problem... Other than this ONE annoyance, i loved the covers, thought the quality was excellent and they fit really good.

I just want to help out the next guy who tries this and says, hey how come these don't fit.

Bringing back to the top...

Can anyone else who has installed a set of legendary bucket seat covers comment on this, weather or not they saw the same problem?
