I was wondering if anyone in here has bought the KORE3 setup for your car? My car is still in pieces and I have recently bought the front and rear C6 setup. I am looking at getting 17 or 18 inch wheels. I have a stock 12 bolt rear and I am using ATS spindles and VariShock Coilovers. I just want to know what wprks and what doesn't?

Just finished installing the "big brakes for GM short spindles" kit on my 70. C5 PBR calipers and rotors (325mm OD). You can buy more bling and the sexier C6 parts, but IMHO the C5 is the best value with genuine GM parts. KORE3 does an excellent job with 411, and package their kits with amazing anal retention....and I mean that in a good way! Tobin is great to deal with, as well.....wrote many a long detailed email to answer the smallest question/concern. I just bled my system last night so don't have road feedback yet. Oh yes, I bought the 77 Monte Carlo/Malibu 6 cyl. manual disc/drum master cylinder, with the 15/16 bore . Again, if you want sex appeal, buy the WILWOOD unit for $200 which is 7/8 bore.

Decide what you want...function, or function with sex appeal!

Duane,
Thanks for the reply. What type of wheels are you using? How is this for sex appeal? http://www.classicperform.com/NewProducts/MCPV-1/MCPV-1.htm I am using that with a hydroboost setup.

Vintage Wheel Works V45s. 17x8 front 17x9.5 rear. I just purchased a 0.25 billet spacer for front clearance of the PBR caliper to the backside welds (and relocated balance weights on the 17s which will hit the calipers).

I'll be installing mine over the next couple weeks. I have a thread in the pro-touring section.

Here is a pic from my photobucket account showing just installed pass. side KORE3 C5 system with PBR caliper and GM 325 rotor, ARP studs 1/2-20. Performance test coming soon, as I get the inner fenders installed, front end aligned, and header collector pipes fab'd and installed!
