I'm in the process of replacing the roofrail weatherstrips and noticed that the small piece riveted to the roofrail channel is missing on one side and the rubberized coating is worn off of the other one. I guess I need to address this before installing the weatherstripping but I'm not sure where I would find these. Any suggestions?

I thinkyou may find them at original parts group or maybe national parts depot.

I didn't see them in either catalog, nor Ausley's.
You might have to find an original to replace the one that's missing but a way to restore the rubberized coating is to use the black liquid rubber "dip" that's sold to coat plier handles etc. After removing what's left of the old coating and removing any rust, dip the piece several times, hanging it up to let it dry between dips.

I did think about the rubber dip which is a good idea, but I'll probably wind up having to make the guide for the driver's side.

I bought some somewhere 10 years ago when I was doing mine. the replacemnets came and they were to long to use. Had roughly an extra 1/2" hanging below the weatherstrip. Get some originals and rubber dip them as mentioned by Von
