Just want to double check before I buy, I've got rust in the lower parts of the rear quarters both sides - thought using reproduction '72 El Camino quarters would be good for my '72 Concours Estate...anyone out there done anything like that? Things to watch for, mistakes not to make?

68-72 Elky lower rear patch panels will work on your wagon. You just have to trim off some of the back edge where it goes behind the bumper. This is only true for the driver's side, as the passenger side has the spare tire well "bulge". For ease of repair and cleaner lines, I eliminated the "bulge" on my project by using a patch panel for the passenger side..

Many thanks - I had a spare tire well custom fabricated last year, the driver's side is worse than the passenger side for sure. As long as there isn't any hidden rust higher up (closer to the windows), I don't anticipate having to use too much of the full quarters anyway - it appears to all be well below the beltline. Thanks for your counsel and your wagon looks great...
