It's a trim tag, I guess if you can but them new from www.trimtags.com (http://www.trimtags.com) it's not that big of a deal. Not trying to defend his actions, but it's not like he's selling a VIN tag.

I see someone bid $5.50 on it which is about $5.00 more than it's worth.

From what I see there is a title, VIN tag, and cowl tag for sale on THIS site. How can anyone fault the ebay auction for a trim tag if there is someone selling a title here?

Where did you see someone "fault" the ebay ad?
It's not illegal to sell trim tags but it is illagal to REMOVE a VIN tag.

The ad you mentioned will be removed by the moderator as soon as it becomes known to him as all VIN tag ads have been in the past.

Too many good folks that'll donate a picture of their tag to restort to buying one. I guess a lot of them get sold for various cars on eBay. Just goes to show what someone will do to make something match.
