Thanks, Dave Add to that list, the base of the distributor, oil pan, overspray on exhaust manifolds (if you're going THAT correct... :D) overspray on edge of bellhousing if a 4 speed, overspray on bypass hose from intake to water pump. Yes, these would be painted on a cast iron intake engine. Are the two water pump fitting painted orange also the vacuum line clip. That is a good question. I believe the fittings would be painted, and I am not sure about the clip. I'm thinking it was on the engine when painted, so on a cast iron intake car, probably yes, and on an aluminum intake car, no. | ||
