So, I went to the body shop yesterday to check on the progress of my '69. Since most of my experience has been with '70-72's I have to ask a question. It looks like there may be something missing on the bottom of my dash carrier. Please take a look at the pics and tell me if you think that someting is missing. Thanks in advance.

I edited the post to enlarge the first picture and remove the other two. The area I'm asking about is the lower right where the instrument cluster attaches (see area in white square). The edge there looks unnaturally cut.
Thanks.
This area may have been cut. You do have the two lower mounting points available for the dash bezel, it will mount right up. It looks like your car had kick panel speakers? If so, then you might have had an 8 track. I have a 69 Malibu with original 8 track and it looks like the factory cut a bit out of my dash in the same area in order to allow one of the mounting brackets for the 8 track to clear the bezel. You may have had a similar thing done to this car. Was it built in Framingham?
It doesn't look like any critical mounting metal is missing, if any.
