A fellow enthusiast has asked me to find out what transmission came on this car. The Protect-O-Plate shows as follows:

Looks like TH400. Should be 69 (year), "A" is engine code (either 255hp 350 or 265hp 396 according to GM P&A Catalog info), and R22 should be three numbers instead of a letter and 2 numbers. The three numbers are the build day starting counting from January 1, 1968; i.e. 322 would be the 322nd day of 1968 or Nov 17th since 1968 was a leap year. Something like 522 would be in 1969; 522-366=156 or June 5.
