Looks like CPN or CRN? Supposed to be a 1970 LS5 (maybe not a Chevelle?)
Anyone know if these codes are valid, and if so, what application they are... Thanks...

CRN is either a 1970 Chevelle 454, 360hp, Manual, 4bbl
or
1970 Monte Carlo, 454, 360hp, Manual, 4bbl
CPN is a no hit

That's because it's listed in my Chevrolet parts book (August 1971) under Chevelles but out of sequence and I missed it. graemlins/clonk.gif and it shows CRT as a 454/360 LS5 w/manual trans. The Chevelle decoder program sold here on TC doesn't list a CRN or CPN. However, digging into the GM "Restoration Kit" it does show a CRN but doesn't show a CRT...go figure. Guess I need to update the site :D Done, thanks for the new code.

I am sure you know this but for those who may not. The Monte Carlo is part of the Chevelle 13xxx series. Just like the El Camino is part of the Chevelle 13xxx series.
Thats why you don't find engines listed for Monte Carlo or El Camino in the part catalogs, they are included in Chevelle models and most all were used for both.
