ANYONE KNOW OF A STOLEN 70SS GRY OR LIGHT GREEN WITH SS STRIPES? I found some parts for sale and the stuff looks way too nice and cheap, thinking there is something shady. I checked the alert page, but I didnt see anything that matches

Why don't you contact the big local club http://www.socalchevellecaminoclub.org/scccc/ and see if they are aware of any stolen '70 Chevelles.

Its good to post here: one of the thieves tricks can be to part out the car in a different area than where it was stolen from. A car can be stolen for its high dollar drivetrain, then the remains cast off for practically nothing.

If the seller is near you maybe you can arrange a visit and see if the shell is still there - maybe you can find some identifying info or better determine if your intuition is correct.

I am trying to work that out now, but I will check out that website too. These parts are way too nice and cheap to be parted. No reason to part with brand new seats, drivetrain and hoods.
