: Which sway bars with my set-up?

I know I can't get great handling with my suspension setup, but maybe it can be a little better. The car used to be ran on the drag strip, but it now is mostly street driven. Wondering if a sway bar setup might help on the street a little?

Front...

Moroso Drag Springs (250 lb rate)
Koni adjustable shocks
Stock 15/16 sway bar
Everything else stock

Rear...

Hotchkis adjustable trailing arms, braces, progressive rate springs and airbags
No sway bar

I bought an Addco 1" rear bar thinking I had a bigger front bar on there. Now that I measured the front bar to be 15/16 :clonk: , I'm assuming the 1" rear bar would be too big? What should I do now as far as sway bar sizes? Keep the rear bar and get a bigger front bar? Keep the front and get a 7/8 rear?

With those soft front springs and stock geometry, you'll want a big front sway bar... 1-1/4" off a 2nd gen Trans-Am would be a good choice. :)

Just from a driver standpoint, I put a sway bar on the back of my el camino and it made a considerable difference in taking bumps and what not.

I want to say I read somewhere the front should be "X" amount bigger then the rear but I am not positive.

I have a huge front bar on mine from summit racing, and also have a fairly large size bar laying in the garage if you would like me to measure it for ya I need to get rid of it anyways.

Stock F41 suspension should be 1 1/4" front bar. Rear is smaller than an inch but I'm not positive, maybe 7/8".

Hello
Sorry guys I didn't mean to come off that way I had some one call in and I cut the answer short accidentally. I would recommend a 1in rear solid and a 1.25 for the front to handle the weight of the front end and body roll. If anyone has any other questions feel free to ask and I will be glad to help!
Thanks
