Wow, those guys are really serious about this stuff. I didn't know it was a game until the end of the video. I never heard of Airsoft until I looked it up (I love Wikipedia). This little firefight seemed to have the intesity of the real thing. Jeez they have tracer rounds and everything. I love games that come close to the real deal, but man, that's a little too over the top for me. Sweet video, none the less.

That's wild! :cool: My son is crazy about airsofts, but he's not old enough for "the good stuff" so I usually look for the cheaper Double Eagle guns when he wants a new one. As a matter of fact, I didn't really realize what a serious sport this actually is until I happened to talk to a couple of guys from Parafrog Airsoft (http://www.parafrogairsoft.com/) at a gun show a while ago. They had some high dollar airsoft guns on their table, and the only thing that gave them away was the orange muzzle. I picked up a couple of them, and I really had to look closely to see that it wasn't the real deal. I was seriously tempted to buy one just to try it out, but my wish list for the show was already a bit too long so I figured that it will have to wait.

BTW: I have never seen airsoft tracers before, that is way cool! I looked it up and it seems like you need a special (expensive) illumination device in the magazine to make them work, so I guess that's yet another thing that will have to wait...

Very cool, but i'm also wondering how they know they score a hit. Like one of the previous posters asked, is it just an honor system thing when you feel you've been hit?
