I am rewiring my 66SS, and am done except for hooking up the steering column harness. The Ron Francis kit I bought has similar colors of wires as those protruding from the column harness, but I don't know if they go to th same connections by color. The column harness ( factory) has brown/black, purple, yellow, light blue, dark blue, green, white, and dark green wires. I know that those wires go to these connections: left and right front turn signals/parking lights. rear turn signals/parking lights, horn, turn signal flasher, brake lights ...BUT I don't know which color ( on the factory harness coming from the column) goes where. So, anyone who has knowledge of these factory wire colors and where they go I would be forever indebted! I have tried to follow them on the factory wiring diagram, but find myself electrically challenged!! Also, does the column get grounded? If so, from where?

Didn't the RF kit come with the GM connector to mate up to the column? It should have and been pre-wired correctly. They have pretty good customer support, you might give them a call: http://www.ronfrancis.com/contactus.asp

The RF connector was shaped like a triangle rather than the crescent moon GM connector...and the colors don't seem to correspond. I called RF today and they said they would call back.... but not yet!
