My griffin rad is clogged , I could visually see it and the temp was real high 220-230 . I am wondering if this rad is able to be cleaned?

I don't know why it couldn't be repaired.

A good radiator shop should be able to clean it out and pressure test it after they are done. It should be fairly cheap too.

I was told that they would not be able to "rod" it out due to the tank not being the removable type. So basically a flush would be it.

if its still in the car .. prestone system cleaner .. dont leave it in too long ...then have a rad shop presure back fluch the system .. the water pump seal may go if its too old .

if all else fails
give me a call

I never had any luck "flushing" a radiator. Used to be the shop would just unsolder the tanks and clean the core and resolder it back together. Guess thats (disassembly) not an (easy) option if its all-welded construction. Here's just some radiator reading material

Good luck. My $0.02
