What is the difference between a cowl tag code of 13837 and 13817. Are they both SS cars?

DaleM Dec 21st, 04, 6:10 PM 13837 would ONLY be a 1965 or 1968 SS coupe and 13817 would ONLY be a 1966 or 1967 SS coupe. 1966 and 1967 were the only two years from 1964 through 1972 the sport coupe was coded as "17" - SS (13817) or Malibu (13617); all years before and after used the more traditional Malibu-style "37". badboy333 Dec 21st, 04, 10:06 PM Thanks for the help I'm still a little confused The car is a 66 Chevelle The decode page on this site has a 13838 code for 66 as a sport coupe as well as the 13817 Is the page just generic for all years?
