That's not a "Rat Rod".....
A "Rat Rod" is a POS consisting of rusty mis-matched parts thrown together to make one unsafe vehicle.

I'd buy that thing in a minute-----but, since mine is pretty much done and I am not done with the 66 yet, in the interest of domestic tranquility---I must decline.

She, for some strange reason seems to think that 2 new and first grandchildren (two daughters expecting near the same time) are more important and interesting than old cars.

That 59 probably worth every penny-----close to what I paid for mine in 01 and I still had 5 yrs of work ahead of me

Scallops, wide whites, lowered, and lake pipes. I think it's fine. I would say that even with a 350 under the hood it could use triple carbs, or perhaps and old dual quad manifold with a pair of WCFBs like a late 50's Corvette.

A rat rod on the other hand, if done accurately, looks like a rolling wreck. I do like the unfinished rods in black primer though.
