Jlindquist May 1st, 09, 1:37 AM I recently purchased a 454 for my 70 chevelle. The engine stamp above the timing cover reads TAO1XAA8. I know the T represents the GM plant location and the rest should tell me the month and year of the block. The only problem is that I can’t find any references to decipher.
