On the back of the block (350sb) I see these numbers:

CONV2

Does anyome kow what they mean?

Already decoded the number on the front
T0612CTL

if anyone could shed some light on the CONV2, I would greatly appreciate it.

thanks, Dan

Been a great car. I ordered it new Aug, '01 with every option in Pewter. Its never been to the dealer for any problems. Mine is ASC conversion 3124

Only problem is that I only get to drive it <6 months out of the year, heavy snow here.

Naw, graemlins/beers.gif

I have 2 4x4 trucks already.. OUCH! the 4x4 HD's are hard on gas, friend has one and he is always complaining about 12 mpg on a good day. I went to Bowling Green (Corvette Museum/Assembly plant) and average 28.5 mpg over 2,500 miles with the WS6

I have the 373 rear, maybe he has the 410. I get around 14 or so on the highway and 12 around town. That car looks mighty lonely in the garage. Did you attend the Woodward cruise? My brother in law and I came, maybe on the twentieth, but not any time soon again.

No, I did not attend. Doubt I ever will. I don't live close to there at all, like 500+ miles North and West.

I have been thinking I might keep this car till is rises to the level of the 60's and 70's performance cars in price. I had several hot cars back in those days and traded them in. Had a 1966 Impala SS396 new, 1966 GTO (used in the 70's), 1970 Chevelle SS454 new, 1972 El Camino SS350 new, 1973 Chevelle SS350 new (did not care for the elc, no room), + several cars in the 90s that I sold off and got this car. Those were a 64 Impala and a 70 El Camino SS396.

Mine is a 2000 with around 15k miles on it. Only seen rain a couple times (was caught twice)
