Been searching, but cant seem to find an answer. i have a 70 factory ac car that i've removed the ac from. Im replacing the suit case with an american graffiti box. the vacuun door at the top of the cowl (plastic door ) is broken. Can I leave it our since Im not installing ac? also does any one have a vacuum line diagram so i can figure out what goes where, what is needed and what can be removed?

That vacuum door shut off the cowl intake in the "max" a/c position so that the interior air would recirculate. Since your going to be using heat only I don't think your need it.
I e-mailed you a two diagrams. One is in jpeg format and the other is in Microsoft word ( .doc ). If you use them together you should be able to figure out what to keep and what to remove.

thank you very much, They make perfect sense. Ive decided to leave the door out for now, I can always stick one in later (mine was broken and laying in the bottom of the cowl with the leaves)
Thanks again

Note that without the door you can get some amount of air flow even without the blower turned on. This may matter to you or not.
