Tonawanda, Jan 22 (T0122) is the best I can help with except that it's obviously not a Chevelle engine. I'm sure one of the guys with an all GM parts number book will chime in here shortly.

I need you to check the suffix code TO122 7BJ again. There is NO 7BJ that I can find.

From all indications, this engine may not be from a motor vehicle or maybe not even a 427. Depending how messed up the suffix is, it could be a 454 or something used in *Marine applications. If you can get him to send you a good jpg image, then it will clear things up but as it stands, 7BJ does not seem to exist..

fyi

*The suffix on these engines all begin with a number proceeded by an X.
