I had a 1970 Chevelle SS396 car for 5 yrs that i just sold in May of o3.I was going through some of my stuff i had bought when i owned the car.I came across a service manual for the 70 Chevelle as i was looking threw it i found what i think to be a original build sheetfor a 70 SSchevelle. It has all the code no. for the items that where on the car such as AK1 DLX BLT&FT. There are 27 different codes on it .In the upper right coner is the no.168784 below that is 136370A and seq no. 378345 0194.The car was built in the Lakewood Plant Atlanta Georgia. In the bottom left corner it says Charge To Colonial Chev Corp 6252 Virginia Beach Norfolk 10 Va 23502 I would like to sell this as i know it makes a car worth alot more money.Iwas thinking of posting it on Ebay. Does anybody have any idea what a document lie this would be worth. When i had my 70 SS i sent all the Canadian Documentation fro the Canadian plant in Oshawa Ontario with all the Canadian codes.I now have a 68 Camaro SS 350 4 speedI have got alot of help from you guys before i hope yous can help again
Thanks dirkey

You should contact the guy you sold it to and give it/sell it to him. I dont think it would be worth much to anyone else.

I agree. The buildsheet needs to be with the car. Who knows what someone else might do with that build sheet. Quite possible that some clones were built using bogus docs. such as this.

I am sure that the owner of the car would offer you something, assuming you were not willing to give it to him.

Sorry about that. I once had, and still do, have an extra buildsheet to another car that was found in the back seat of a '70 cuda. Some times the assembly line workers made a mistake.

Long shot, but maybe the owner reads your thread.
