My 14 year old Edelbrock water pump still functions but a corrosion problem on the neck requires I replace it. As I don't race anymore, weight isn't a concern so I'm looking toward iron to save a few bucks. Anyone have anything good or bad to say about the the Summit brand? It's quite a bit cheaper than the others. Oh yeah, the engine is a 383.

I run stock chevy water pump on my 385, 10.25comp, Solid roller motor with 3 core rad, A/C with no problems at all. 195 on the hottest day and a/c on
