Trying to decifer this trim tag:

ST 71-13637 R01272 BDY TR 706 26 B PNT 08B182

Advertised as an SS without original engine.
Did all '71 SS come with driver remote mirror? This one does not have, nor does it have SS emblems on door panels. Currently has a 454, 4 speed, buckets, console, SS dash with tach, and is painted a light blue. Has all other SS and 454 emblems and also has cowl induction hood and clear turn signal lenses. I know its impossible to tell if its an SS without the paperwork, but any help decifering the trim tag would be appreciated.

01272 ~ Fisher Body unit number
BDY ~ Body
TR ~ Trim
706 ~ Black Elk Coated Fabric (bench)
26 B ~ lower/upper paint codes, 26=Mulsanne Blue (http://www.chevellestuff.com/71velle/gallery/26_mulsanne_blue_heavy01.jpg), B=black vinyl top
PNT ~ Paint

Don't know if the remote mirror (RPO D33) was standard on the SS or not but I'd doubt it.

There should be a VIN derivative stamped on the engine pad - something like 11Rnnnnnn where 'nnnnnn' are the last 6-digits of the VIN. If they match your car, it'd have to be a SS as I think the 454 required the SS option - I know it did in 72.
