I found the stamped code on the axle, and according to all info that I have found, it is a 10 bolt non-posi 3.08 made on Sept. 2nd in Warren(right by my house by the way). It is stamped CA 9/02 W. When I squawked the tires though it left a set of tire tracks not just the one side. Is there a possibility that it was mismarked, or is there another answer? I highly doubt that the gears were replaced or changed due to the records that were kept by the previous owners. Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks.

When I 1st located my 64 Elky L-74, I too punched it, and left 2 equal marks, thinking YA ! Got possie.
A few weeks latter, got under to look at the code, And found simular markings, and pulled the cover, I found a non-possie 3:08 in there. So all I am saying is don't go by those marks left on the concrete.
